SRH vs RCB: Powerplay Fireworks at Hyderabad as RCB Race to 61/1
RCB opted to bat first and got off to a blazing start in the powerplay overs against SRH at Hyderabad. Openers Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis took the attack to the SRH bowlers, scoring at over 10 runs per over in the first 6 overs.
Du Plessis was the more aggressive of the two initially, smashing 25 off just 9 balls including 3 fours and a six before falling to T Natarajan in the 4th over. His dismissal brought young English batter Will Jacks to the crease.
However, it was Kohli who took charge, scoring a blistering 32 off just 18 balls in the powerplay. His innings was studded with 4 fours and a huge six over mid-wicket off Natarajan. RCB raced to 61/1 at the end of the powerplay.

SRH vs RCB – Middle Overs Mayhem by Rajat Patidar
The middle overs saw a sensational display of power hitting by RCB’s Rajat Patidar. He launched into leg-spinner Mayank Markande in the 11th over, smashing him for 4 consecutive sixes to bring up a 19-ball fifty.
Patidar’s onslaught was briefly stopped by Jaydev Unadkat who dismissed him for a 20-ball 50. But the damage had been done as RCB cruised to 127/2 after 12 overs, with Kohli playing the anchor role.
Kohli brought up a well-constructed fifty off 37 balls, but struggled to accelerate against SRH’s disciplined bowling. He was finally dismissed by Unadkat for 51 off 43 balls.
SRH vs RCB – Death Overs Blitz by Green and Swapnil Singh
The last few overs saw some big hits from Cameron Green (37 off 20) and Swapnil Singh (12 off 6) as RCB plundered 55 runs in the last 4 overs.
Green cleared the ropes twice while Singh smashed a six and four off the final over bowled by Natarajan. RCB managed to post an imposing total of 206/7 after 20 overs.

For SRH, Unadkat was the pick of the bowlers with 3/30, while Natarajan grabbed 2/39. However, SRH captain Pat Cummins had an off day, leaking 55 runs in his 4 overs.
