Andre Russell IPL played a blistering innings for Kolkata Knight Riders, scoring an unbeaten 64 runs off just 25 balls. His innings was laced with 4 fours and 5 sixes, displaying his immense power-hitting abilities. Russell came in to bat when KKR was struggling at 119/6 in the 14th over and turned the game around with his explosive batting.
He took the attack to the SRH bowlers right from the start, smashing sixes and boundaries at will. Russell brought up his fifty in just 20 balls, showcasing his ability to score quickly even in the death overs. His partnership with Rinku Singh for the 7th wicket added 81 runs in just 36 balls, propelling KKR to a competitive total of 208/7 in their 20 overs.
Russell’s strike rate of 256.00 was the highest among all batters in the match, and his innings proved to be the difference between the two sides as KKR won the match by a narrow margin of 4 runs.

Andre Russell also contributed with the ball for Kolkata Knight Riders, picking up 2 wickets for 25 runs in his 2 overs. He dismissed the dangerous Abhishek Sharma and Abdul Samad, both of whom were looking to take the game away from KKR.
