GT vs DC – Delhi Capitals Skittle Gujarat Titans For 89 in Lopsided Win
The Delhi Capitals produced a clinical all-round performance to dismantle the Gujarat Titans, bundling them out for a paltry 89 in their IPL 2024 clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Opting to bowl first, the Capitals’ pacers Ishant Sharma and Khaleel Ahmed made early inroads before the spinners Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel and Tristan Stubbs ran through the Titans’ batting lineup.
The home team got off to a poor start as Shubman Gill fell cheaply for 8, caught by Prithvi Shaw off Ishant. Wriddhiman Saha’s struggles continued as he dragged one onto his stumps for 2. Sai Sudharsan (12) and David Miller (2) also departed quickly as the Titans slumped to 30/4 in the powerplay.
Stubbs then struck two vital blows, having Abhinav Manohar stumped for 8 and the dangerous Sai Sudharsan run out for a diamond duck courtesy a direct hit from Sumit Kumar.

For Delhi, Ishant, Mukesh Kumar, Khaleel and Stubbs picked up two wickets each as the Titans folded for their lowest IPL total of 89.
In reply, the Capitals hardly faced any trouble, with Shai Hope smashing 47 off just 24 balls to take them home inside 9 overs and inflict a massive 9-wicket defeat on the Titans.
