Asian paints announced Virat Kohli to be their New Brand Ambassador for their upcoming new launch Neo Bharat Latex paint. In the grand opening of their launch, they had a huge event hosted by Gaurav Kapoor and conducted an interview with Virat Kohli. Where he talked about his struggles, mental health, career, Funny stories of his team mates like Yuvraj Singh Gautam Gambhir, Virendra Sehwag, Rohit Sharma and many more.

When the host asked Virat Kohli About his first interaction with “THE GOD” Sachin Tendulkar, Virat had a really funny story to share. He went on to say that 4 of the biggest pranksters of then Indian team Yuvi Paa (Yuvraj Singh), Irfan Paaji (Irfan Pathan), Munaf Paa (Munaf Patel) and Zak (Zaheer Khan) told him that whenever a new player comes into the team, he has to touch the feet of Sachi Tendulkar because he is the God of Cricket. Virat initially was confused but eventually agreed to it thinking that might be the rule of the team. He went on to touch the feet of Sachin Tendulkar, when he stopped him from doing so and said those guys are having fun pointing to those 4 people who were lauhing in the corner.

“I would say at the time I though it was very important, England mai run nhi maare toh log nhi manenge ki mai Test player tha and all. Today sitting here, I feel proud of many things. I went to England in 2014, I had a horrible tour. I think I scored about 130 runs in 10 innings which was the worst part of my career, I thought I would have to go back to first class cricket. Virat Kohli talked about the most important test century he had in England, when he scored 149 runs playing against bowlers like james Anderson who got him out 6 times in the previous tour of England. He talked about a drop catch that changed his life and he went on to score 600 runs in that tour.

“In the coming years I performed well against South Africa, I went to England and the guy who got me out for 7 times before was Jams Anderson in the first tour. First day we lost the toss and we were batting second. Wo bowling kar raha hai, aur usne apne firt ball mai out kar diy tha. I was walking into england after 4 years and uske haath mai naya ball hai. I was literally shaking. That day I thought I was going to stand there.. koi chauka nhi maarna hai koi chaka nhi maarna hai, bas out nhi hona hai. Talking about Yuvraj Singh he mentioned how lazy Yuvraj Singh was, who always used to stay in his room and sleep in his bed. Never coming out of the bed. He talked about how Yuvraj Singh used to make him order food and then trash talk about the food that Virat Kohli had ordered
